1. Who we are

Gully Cricket Scorer is developed and published by K4 Technologies. For any question about this policy or your data, contact k4.technologies.dev@gmail.com.

Because the app transmits nothing to us, we hold no user data and act as no one's data controller. Your match records exist only on devices you control.

2. Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically, the app does not:

• Ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address
• Contain analytics, telemetry, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs
• Read your contacts, location, camera, microphone, calendar, or accounts
• Send data to our servers, because the app has no servers and makes no network requests

3. What the app stores on your device

Everything you enter while scoring is written to the app's private storage on your device:

• Team names, player names, and the venue you type in
• Ball-by-ball scoring data, scorecards, and any commentary you add
• Your saved player roster — the names and nicknames, and any notes you add to them, that you reuse from one match to the next
• Your theme preference

This storage is sandboxed by Android and is not readable by other apps.

4. Permissions

The app declares two permissions. Neither is used to gather information about you.

5. When data leaves your device

Only when you choose to send it. Four actions can move data off the device, each started by you:

• Export Data writes a JSON backup file to a location you pick
• Download PDF saves a scorecard to your device
• Share opens Android's share sheet so you can send a scorecard to another app or person
• Share this roster saves your player roster as a JSON file, or shows it as a QR code for someone else to scan. Both contain the player names you have saved. Nothing is uploaded anywhere: the file goes where you put it, and the QR code is drawn on your own screen.

These files contain the match details you entered, including player names. Once you send a file somewhere, it is governed by the privacy policy of whichever service or app you sent it to. We have no access to it and no way to retrieve it.

6. Android Backup

If Android's automatic backup is enabled on your device, your saved matches are included in your device backup to your own Google account, and in device-to-device transfer when you set up a new phone. This means your match data can survive uninstalling the app and can be restored onto a new device.

That backup goes to your Google account, not to us, and is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can disable it in your device settings under System → Backup.

7. Other people's information

When you score a match you type in the names of other players, and your saved roster keeps those names between matches. Those names are personal information about other people, and they stay on your device under your control on the same terms as everything else in this policy. If you share a scorecard, a backup, or your roster, their names travel with it. Please share responsibly, and ask before publishing someone's name where it can be seen widely.

8. Third-party services

The app itself integrates no third-party services, SDKs, analytics, or advertising networks.

Two things sit outside the app and are worth knowing about. If you installed the app from Google Play, Google collects installation and, where you have enabled it at device level, crash and performance diagnostics, under Google's own privacy policy. And if you use Share, the app you share into receives whatever you send.

9. Children's privacy

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and contains no advertising, in-app purchases, or external links. It is safe for children to use, though a parent should be aware that player names typed into a scorecard are stored on the device and are included in anything the user chooses to share or export.

10. Security

Match data is held in the app's private, sandboxed storage, which Android prevents other applications from reading. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept and no server of ours to breach.

The security of the data therefore rests on the security of your device. We recommend keeping a screen lock, passcode, or biometric enabled, and keeping your device software up to date.

11. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep nothing, so there is no retention period on our side and no request to make of us. You control the data entirely:

• Delete a single match from the Match History screen
• Remove everything by uninstalling the app, or through Settings → Apps → Gully Cricket Scorer → Storage → Clear data
• If Android Backup is enabled, also delete the app's backup from your Google account, or it may be restored later

12. Your rights

Privacy laws including the EU and UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to access, correct, export, and erase your personal data. Because we never receive your data, you can exercise all of these directly in the app: view and correct any match, export everything as a JSON file, and delete individual matches or all of them. There is no request for us to fulfil and no account for us to close.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "Last updated" date, and where the change affects how data is handled it will also be noted in the app's release notes. Please review this page from time to time.
